Green Beach Pattaya

The staff are amazing, and security is better than the police! The location in Na Kluea (Pattaya) is very nice, with parking available. There’s a swimming pool on top with a lovely view, plus a gym. It’s a good place to relax in Thailand.

After four months, I decided to leave. My room was large but dark and noisy, with small ants in the walls that bit me in bed at night. The TV didn’t work properly because the main roof antenna was covered with some kind of plastic foil. There was a constant cigarette smell in the corridor, and no night quiet rule, so people regularly screamed until 04:00. The rooftop pool was tiny and always dirty. I think they were saving on filters and electricity. Free coffee and tea at reception were only for day guests, not long-term guests like me. Reception staff seemed to change constantly. When I ended the contract, the receptionist deducted a 1000 THB cleaning fee, even though nobody had cleaned my room during those four months and the bed linen had never been changed. She also tried to charge me the daily hotel rate for my last days, contrary to the contract. When I said I would call the police to clarify it, she stopped pursuing the matter.

It’s cheap, but there isn’t much to offer. The pool is small, and the place feels a bit lonely.

Beware if you’re planning to rent for more than 1 month. The owner didn’t return the deposit, and the electricity charge was four times what it should have been. The monthly payment was 10000, but they billed us 12000. We made deliveries with aggregators and now have to wait 1 month to change our address. There are lots of cats, a smell, cockroaches, and flies. The reception staff smelled of alcohol.
