Le Palm Hotel

Le Palm Home had a calm, cozy feel, and my room was clean and comfortable. Everything I needed was close by, too. I really enjoyed my stay and would gladly come back.

The rooms looked nothing like the pictures, and the reception staff weren't friendly. One woman's face always looked angry. I could understand Thai, and the service was pretty bad. Staff were arguing in front of guests because the rooms hadn't been cleaned on time before check-in. I'd booked two rooms, one double and one twin, but both had double beds. The booking said WiFi was free, but at check-in they gave us a two-bedroom family room with no WiFi. The fridge was awful: our leftover food and two bottles of water were frozen by morning. They didn't provide a water heater at first, and when I asked, they still didn't give it to me. I had to go back and ask again. The facilities were old and unsafe. There was no coffee or tea. They put us on the other side of the hotel, where the pool is for adults only, even though I'd mentioned the kids when booking. Very dangerous. Worst experience ever!

The pool is amazing, and the place is really nice and quiet. They don't serve food, though. If you can sort out your own breakfast and meals, I'd highly recommend staying here.

The mattress was really firm, and I didn't like the atmosphere, so I checked out within an hour. The staff and hotel gave me the worst experience I've ever had. They judge customers by how they look.
