Mike Garden Resort Hotel

The setting is calm compared with Pattaya's crowded areas, and the pool is a relaxing place to spend time. Rooms are spacious, clean and comfortable, and breakfast was decent with enough options to start the day. The hotel is a little away from the main beach and markets, so you'll need transport, though that distance also makes it quieter. Staff service was mixed, with some helpful people and others who could have been more welcoming. A few parts of the hotel feel old, but nothing spoiled the stay. Good value if you want space and a peaceful stay.

The rooms are spacious, clean and comfortable for couples or families, and the calm setting away from central Pattaya makes it relaxing after a day out. Staff were polite and helpful, and check-in and check-out went smoothly. A 7-Eleven is a short walk away, and Terminal 21 mall is within walking distance for shopping and dining. Pattaya Beach takes around 15 minutes on foot. Walking Street is about a 15-20 minute drive, Tiger Park roughly 25-30 minutes, Frost Magical Ice of Siam around 30 minutes by car, and the Sanctuary of Truth about 20-25 minutes away. Mike Garden Resort is a good-value choice if you want to see Pattaya attractions while staying somewhere quieter.

The pool was comfortable, though some of the tiles are very sharp and need repairing. The kids' playground can be used, but it should be cleaned and disinfected every day. Staff were responsible and helped carry our luggage to the room, and every person we met greeted us warmly. The front desk upgraded us for free to a very spacious room. They also thoughtfully placed guests of different nationalities in separate buildings and floors, which helped avoid culture shock. Highly recommended!

We had a lot of fun relaxing by the huge swimming pool, where you can also chill out with drinks. Breakfast was great for both veg and non-veg guests, though I wish there were more vegetarian options. The rooms were huge and super clean, and everything else was cool. The one flaw was the balcony furniture, which looked very outdated and didn't match the interior.
