We planned on three nights and ended up extending the stay. The staff are lovely and work really hard. Both pools and the gardens are gorgeous and well looked after. The room was large and the bed very comfortable, but the room itself was old, dark, and ready for refurbishing. Housekeeping came daily and replaced the water and toiletries. There's also a kitchen where you can cook if you want. Our main problems were that the water never got warmer than lukewarm and the Wi-Fi was very weak. The hotel runs a tuk tuk to the main road every hour, but it wasn't reliable for the return trip.

We had a nice 12-day stay at this older hotel with some charm. The staff were friendly, the three-floor building has no lift, and the rooms are large, with a kitchen and balcony. It's away from the busy tourist area, though the very busy beach is 600mts away. Tops supermarket is at the entrance, beach pool towels are provided, and while most guests were Russian, it was quiet. Hot water in our room was intermittent and only warm at best. The towels were old and grey, except for the swan towels on check-in day. The free tuktuk to the main road was unreliable on the return. Some areas need maintenance. Loose roof tiles on the third floor came crashing down while we were on the loungers, narrowly missing me and my wife. Anyone passing through at the time could have been fatally injured or killed. We reported it, and although other tiles were still loose, the area was only partially coned off, which guests ignored 🙁.

The location is great, just 10 steps to the central shopping center and Big C, with motorbikes and cabs right outside the resort. There's a clean, deep swimming pool, 2.5 ~5 meter. Parking is available and the staff are very friendly. Inside looks old, but the rooms are clean, okay for a night or two. Breakfast is very simple. Our neighbors kept us awake at 2-3 am, and we couldn't sleep at all.

The pool was nice and the AC worked well, but those were the only good things about the place itself. The rooms are quite old and dark, and we had some ants. Our room was far from the lobby, and the Wi-Fi didn't work for us at all. The staff obviously couldn't fix it, so making a complaint was pointless.

For 1000 baht, it's a good place at a cheap price. It's quiet, has a big pool, actually two pools, and there's a path straight to the beach across the street, about a four-minute walk. The internet was very bad and mostly wouldn't connect. The AC was noisy, and the TV reception was so poor we couldn't watch.
