Way Hotel Pattaya

It’s quiet and never felt crowded, so it’s a good fit for a relaxing break, whether you’re travelling as a couple or with family. The hotel food tasted good and was decent quality, and the bathroom had very strong water pressure, which made showers especially comfortable. There’s a 7-Eleven right next door, handy for picking things up anytime. My room was airy, spacious, and laid out well, with a beautiful, relaxing view. I was impressed from arrival, felt it was very good value, and would definitely come back.

We left after one night, even though we’d booked four. The sewage smell was everywhere, the mattress felt cheap, the facilities were old, and getting to attractions was a long way. When we asked for our money back, they refused without even checking. We stayed at 20 hotels on our honeymoon, and this was the worst. It barely feels like a three-star place, let alone five. Bad, bad, bad.

The hotel feels empty, almost like a ghost place, and it’s too far north for us. The pool areas smelled like sewage, and breakfast was bad. Honestly, I can’t think of anything good to say. Stay somewhere else.

Breakfast was a good standard, and the staff were generally helpful. The hotel and the clean pool water felt well kept, though the pool area itself lacked charm and felt a bit sad. Our room had what we needed and a small balcony looking over the pool and the beach, which wasn’t especially romantic.
