Pillow Inn Phayao

For 600 THB, it's hard to complain too much. The modern room had a comfy bed and smart TV, but sounds from the corridor came through, and there was a drainage smell in the bathroom.

A perfect day, just staying in and sleeping.

The quality for the price is excellent, and this is a hotel I'd recommend and stay at again. The room felt new and was a comfortable size for one or two people. It had no odor, the AC got wonderfully cold, and the thick bed and pillows were comfortable, not soggy. The bathroom had a glass divider between the wet and dry areas, hot water, and strong shower pressure. There was a kettle, instant coffee, a fridge, Wi-Fi, and two bottles of drinking water each day. Standard towels were provided, but no hair towels or hairdryer. Parking is available outdoors without a cover. It's cheaper to book through a travel app than to walk in. Without a car, the walk to the main road would be difficult, as it's quite far and dark and eerie at night. With a car it's no problem, and Grab is readily available.

The soft, comfortable bed was nice, and the bathroom's separate zones were okay. But the fridge wasn't working at all, probably broken, and the food I bought spoiled. Wi-Fi kept dropping and was practically unusable. I told the staff about these problems at checkout and asked them to fix them, but they brushed me off as if they didn't care. I hope both the facilities and service improve.
