The host’s kindness really made the stay. They were friendly and helpful from check-in through checkout, with local suggestions and help arranging travel. The room was clean, comfortable, and well kept, and offered good value. It’s simple but has what you need for a short stay. Just note there’s no elevator, so carrying heavy luggage on the stairs could be tough. I’d pack light or ask for a lower floor if available. Cozy and dependable, especially if you’re traveling light. I’d gladly return.

The rooftop patio is gorgeous at sunset, and a great place to have a beer or two and hang out with other travelers, local and Thai. Dorms are roomy, with four beds and large lockers that come with locks. The staff were kind, helpful, and a little shy. Showers were plentiful and clean, and there are quite a few sights nearby. I’m usually not much of a hostel person, but this one won me over.

The street noise was so bad in my private room that I couldn’t sleep until 3 a.m. Only dorm room 1 is at the back, while the other rooms face the street, so I wouldn’t stay here if you need proper rest. The room itself was clean and the staff were helpful, but the noise at night really needs fixing. Everything else was good.

The rooms looked just like the photos and the views were good. It was a little empty while we were there, so I hope more people visit. They helped us rent a bike, and when we left, gave us a small gift and a plate of green mango. A very good hostel, definitely one I’d recommend.

The people running the place were friendly and helpful, and the private rooms were nice and clean, with shared bathrooms. The main problem is that every private room faces the main road, and the soundproofing isn’t good. Street noise carried on until midnight, then started again around 5-5:30 a.m., which could be rough for a light sleeper. The curtains were partly see-through, so streetlights kept the room bright all night. At noon I woke up thinking it was morning because of the light. The hotel kindly provides bananas and small snacks, but vegetarians should watch out: some dips may contain shrimp, with no label to indicate it. I’d have rated the stay five stars, but took off three because of the noise, light, and unlabeled non-vegetarian snacks. The last two seem like things the hotel could fix pretty easily.
