I’m trying to get my money back after booking the room through Booking. When I arrived to check in, the property said they had no contract with Booking. I hadn’t read the earlier reviews, so I didn’t know this had happened before. I can’t understand why the property is still active in the app. Don’t fall into this trap.

I paid for a room in the app before arriving, but at 10pm the staff insisted I pay extra or I couldn’t stay. I wouldn’t recommend this place. It shows no business ethics.

We ended up paying twice, first for the app booking and then directly to the hotel before we could check in. The hotel said the booking was invalid because they had canceled their contract with OYO. We were scammed. Don’t use the Booking.com app!

This has reportedly been going on for over a year, yet rooms are still being sold. The property says it ended its contract with OYO, but customers who already paid by credit card have had no issues resolved. Neither OYO nor the hotel owner has taken responsibility, leaving customers abandoned without accountability.

The manager said he had already canceled his participation with the app, so I don’t understand why the hotel was still advertised there. If you book through it, you may arrive only to be turned away, with the manager being rude and your reservation money wasted. The harsh words the manager received were nothing compared with the money lost. I’d look for somewhere else to stay, and I repeat, don’t book here through the app.
