The only real advantage here is the walking distance to the bus station, where you can catch long-distance buses to Sukhothai and other places in Thailand. The shower in my room leaked whenever it was used, so less water reached the shower head and some went to waste. The outside AC compressors were also noisy. The walls are thin, so I could hear the compressor for my room or the next one whenever it switched on, right from bed. There’s no soundproofing. You can hear everything in the next room and at reception. On the first night, an old man at reception watched internet videos on his phone, and the receptionist let him. The noise kept me awake, so I got up and politely asked the female receptionist to make him stop. The second night, the same two were there again and he watched videos again. I couldn’t fall asleep, and ended up having an angry exchange with the receptionist. I’d already raised this once, so I don’t understand why it happened again. It was scandalous, and felt like bad faith from both of them. I later understood the man was also a hotel employee. We finally had peace on the third night. The fridge also made an abnormally loud noise whenever it switched on, especially disturbing at night, so I turned it off. Then the ice melted and water ran out.

My friend didn’t want to stay there. If I were alone or with my girlfriend, though, I would stay. It has very good reviews on Agoda.

The staff were absolutely amazing, and the room was clean. Best of all, it was so affordable. ❤️

Nice people and a clean room. Just one small minus, our room had no window.
