The bed was comfortable, and in the morning there was a coffee station. The coffee wasn't the best, but it was okay. When I checked out, the receptionist from the previous evening ran out to my car waving a 100 baht note. I'd forgotten the key deposit, so I left it as a tip. I'd taken a different drive from Chonburi back to Chiang Mai and stayed overnight at the Viewpoint. The location worked well, with plenty of riverside restaurants and bars for dinner, and the receptionist checked me in quickly and was very friendly. My issues were with the room: the shower worked, but its heater didn't, so the water was cold. With the temperature only at 22, I had been looking forward to a hot shower. There were no switches by the bed, so after turning the lights off at the entrance, I had to find my way to bed in the dark.

The accommodation was clean and basic, and cheap enough. It's on the far side of the Nam river, with a couple of restaurants nearby, though they're rather expensive.

My balcony had a beautiful sunset view, which was the highlight for me. The room suited me as a solo traveler, and housekeeping were friendly and helpful. Bars, restaurants, and the river are all within walking distance, making it a nice area to explore on foot. This was my first stay at the Viewpoint Hotel in Phitsanulok. The place is simple, quiet, and easygoing, much like the peaceful feel of the province. Check-in and checkout were straightforward. I arrived at noon, but check-in wasn't until 2 PM. The hotel wasn't very busy, so I had to wait, though I understand the timing. It was a lovely, peaceful stay.

Quiet little find across the river from the main town, with rooms just like the online photos. They're big, and the walk-in price is 600Bt. Riverside restaurants are a fantastic 50m walk away, and 7-11 is about a 10min walk. Highly recommend. 💕

The rooms are good, the price isn't high, and the nearby bars and restaurants are well known and good. They're also not far from the city center. I'd give it 5 stars, but both of my stays had some annoying issues. On the second visit, parking was a problem.
