We ate dinner at the resort restaurant too, and the fresh red tail fish spicy soup was delicious. The crispy fried fish and mixed vegetables with oyster sauce were good as well. Our cottage-style studio was clean, and the resort is close to one of Thailand’s 88 ancient trees. Sunrise and sunset spots are less than 2 km away. The family running the place were generous and friendly. Halal food was hard to find in the area, so they specially made fish porridge for our breakfast. There are several room types to choose from. The resort also has surveillance cameras.

We ate lunch and dinner at Chomdao restaurant, and both meals were very good. I reviewed it separately. The manager was friendly and helpful, and there are quite a few units in different styles. Our double room was very good too. The bathroom, lights, power and wifi all worked, which doesn't always happen in Thailand. The place is about 2 km from the Mekong and the boat trips, probably one of the main reasons people stay here in normal times. Recommended.

The food was delicious, with a variety of imported beers at reasonable prices. The owner was kind and always ready to help, and even gave us complimentary fruit and drinks. The resort is clean, spacious and cozy, with first-class service in Samphanboke Ubonratchathani. It deserves five stars for its service. Thanks again for looking after us so well. We'll recommend it to others and come back.

The breakfast was good, with more than just porridge, and the hotel looks better in person than it did in the picture. The room was nearly good, though there was some dust. Check-in and check-out took a bit long, likely because there aren't many employees. Service didn't feel very attentive to guests.

The family runs a lovely resort near a sunrise view over the Mekong. The rooms are big, clean and very comfortable, with lovely beds. I'd definitely stay here again.
