Come Moon Loft Hotel

We found this hotel on Google Maps after reading that the hotel and rooms were nice. Agoda showed no rooms available when we checked, so we walked in to see if there might be anything left. There was one room available, for 590 baht on a weekday, which worked for us. The hotel has only 15 rooms, so try to book ahead if you plan to visit. An aunty came out to guide us to the parking area next door since our car was too long for the space out front. There’s another parking space beside the hotel, and it’s bright and safe. The aunty was very friendly, spoke English, and after we paid she showed us to our room. She also suggested the nearby night market for dinner. The room was clean and nice, with a very comfortable bed and blanket. The AC and water heater worked well, and the water pressure was strong. It was quiet and suited us well. Highly recommended.

We arrived as a last-minute walk-in and got a very warm welcome. Parking right outside was really convenient. It’s a great budget hotel that doesn’t look budget, with large, clean rooms finished in grey polished plaster or concrete. And there are two lovely cats.

Phrae is a beautiful, clean, interesting, and welcoming city. The hotel is an excellent place to stay in town, with a clean room that was tidy and well equipped. The woman who welcomed us was very nice and warm. The neighborhood is very quiet, especially at night. There’s a pleasant park along the river within a five-minute walk, where you can watch the sunset. At the start of the street, several nice women sell fresh fruit at great prices.

The room was clean, and there were no noise issues. The hotel cats are great. But the concrete walls, floor, and ceiling heat up in the warmer months, and the air conditioner can’t keep up. Even after switching it on, the room stays hot for a long time. Like most Thai hotels, they stick strictly to the 2pm check-in time, even though the hotel was 80% empty.
