A week after the storm, the hotel healed local people.
Breakfast had good hot eggs and porridge.
A good price for locals.
For four people, our room cost only 1,100 baht, and breakfast was included. The hotel is in the city center near Wat Phumin, with different room types to choose from, so it feels like good value for the money. There may be some insects in the room. We also had trouble getting the TV to turn on, and it seemed to have no signal. Still, it's good overall.
I've never had an experience like this before. I'd booked two rooms a month ahead, but on arrival the hotel said one bathroom was broken and I couldn't stay there, so I had to move to another hotel. I asked if we could keep the original room and use the bathroom in the other one. They refused, saying repairs had been going on all night and the toilet had to be removed. I can't tell whether the bathroom really was broken or whether they'd simply forgotten to record it in the booking. The hotel offered to find new accommodation, and we agreed on a price and room details. Later, though, they said it would have an extra bed, even though they'd first said it would be a regular bed. The staff also argued with me aggressively. This was a first for me. If you want this kind of experience, consider booking with them.
