Best Western Phuket Ocean Resort

The views are very good, the location is excellent, and you can walk to all the attractions. Outside the hotel you’ll find drinks, scooter gas, 7-Eleven, and currency exchange. WiFi worked well. Service was excellent, and the lobby has free luggage storage and complimentary drinks, including coffee, tea, and other beverages. There are three pools with great views and clean water. Our room was spacious, though the furniture could use an upgrade. The TV didn’t work properly during our stay, and apparently the IT team wasn’t available. The bathroom was just okay and felt small for the room; there was no bathtub in room 4126, where we stayed. Be aware there are lots of unavoidable stairs. Staff carried our luggage, but we still had to climb quite a bit to reach the elevator and then more stairs to get to the room.

We had a lovely stay. The staff were friendly, the rooms and pool areas very clean, and the location was good, close to Karon beach and lots of great restaurants. When our flight was delayed, they let us check out late. The complimentary buffet was good, though it could use more vegetarian choices, better pastries, and better yogurt. I’d definitely recommend staying here in Phuket.

June was always happy to help and serve us, and the kids had a great couple of days here. We tried to extend our stay, but the resort was fully booked. It was a perfect holiday spot for families, and we’ll definitely be back before Christmas.

We were especially grateful for all the help from Yve, chom, Jam, and Tan. The staff were lovely and very accommodating. The hotel is close to everything, with comfortable, clean rooms, lots of pools, a good gym, and amazing food. You won’t be disappointed.
