D2 lamoon

We only stayed one night while waiting for our transfer to Koh Phi Phi, and the affordable room did the job. It was handy for snacks at 7-11, and there are several ATMs nearby. The place is close to old town and Rassada Pier, and I’d have liked to be there for the Sunday night markets. Finding it in Bolt or Grab can be a little tricky. Our room was on the 6th floor. The single elevator is very tight, fits around 4-6 people depending on luggage, and oddly has a button to switch on the fan. We took the stairs a couple of times, but the step lengths felt unusual to us. There was no shower curtain, so the bathroom got wet, and it was hot and humid in there.

Really friendly staff, happy to help with any travel arrangements we needed. The hotel is an easy walk from the city centre, and they kindly kept our luggage for us. We enjoyed pancakes at the dining tables with seashell designs, and our daughter loved the Christmas decorations. We’d definitely come back.

I was really satisfied for the price and would like to come back. The staff were some of the nicest I’ve met, and the location in old town is good, right across from 7 -11. Our room was decent and had proper AC. I stayed for two days with my wife, and there were lots of families there, so it’s family friendly. They also arrange bike and taxi rentals at the desk.

Everything was great, and the people at reception were especially kind and amazing. The hotel is close to old town, with supermarkets, a pharmacy, massage places and coffee shops easy to reach. They had free coffee, juice and water available all day, and smoking was allowed outside and on the balcony. Thank you 🤍
