Sunny Hostel Phuket

We found the rooms and bathrooms basic, but they had what we needed and were kept clean. The door lock was a little broken, and getting the key out took some effort. Also, not every bed had its own plug socket. The hostel’s in a great spot in the old town, near shops, bars and restaurants, and the staff were friendly and very helpful.

The location put us right in the middle of everything, and the staff were kind and always ready to help. We loved staying at Phuket Sunny and will definitely come back. I’d say give it a try, you won’t be disappointed.

We only booked a single night at first to see what it was like, but extended as soon as we arrived. The staff made us feel welcome and gave helpful suggestions for places to eat and go. They seemed to really want us to have a great time, which is why we kept coming back to book again. The rooms and bathrooms were super clean, and the Old Town location was great. Might be the best hostel I’ve stayed in.

We spent three nights in a double room and found it clean and comfortable. The front desk lady pointed out the night markets and explained how to catch the bus, which felt like a whole adventure for beginners like us. The cleaning lady was so sweet, and staying there felt like being at home. It’s right in the middle of the old town, with a nice little food court across the street where the food is cheap.
