I booked the three bedroom villa, and there's loads of grassy open space and a nice swimming pool. I love the grass area, and it's a great place if you want plenty of room. The only thing I didn't like was the pool tile choice. Maybe grey or a wood-like material would've looked better, just my opinion. Overall, it's a nice, affordable villa.

It's a peaceful place for relaxing, and close to the airport. Keep in mind it's remote, though, with few restaurants or spas nearby and many tourist spots a long way off.

We rented the villa for a week. It was clean, with good furniture and plumbing, and the pool was clean too. The place sits a little off the main road, though that was no trouble with a car. Layan beach, a beautiful beach in a national park, is a five-minute drive away. The villa was cleaned twice during our stay. Luck, the hostess, was very kind and helpful. Check-in and checkout were quick, and when the coffee machine broke, they replaced it right away. Cleaning and electricity cost extra, but those charges were disclosed and felt completely fair. David and his team did more than expected to make our February stay a great one. The villas and pools were perfect, and the area was quiet and lovely, away from Phuket's bustle but close enough to what I think is the best beach on the island. I'd highly recommend booking Villa Sunpao.

The house was clean, but I stayed in villa 5 and didn't feel safe because the front door lock was broken. I could open it with one hand, and I'm not especially strong. The gate and front door locks were fitted upside down, and one bedroom door barely closed because it hadn't been measured properly. It left us with little to stop anyone from walking in. Also, the reservation price isn't the full cost. They charge extra for water and electricity, plus 1200 baht for cleaning. The villa was okay otherwise, but with those issues it's not perfect. It's also quite far from the city, about 30 minutes by motorcycle, though that wasn't the main problem. Just a heads-up to take the extra charges into account.
