The September Salaya

I stayed three weeks, and it suited me well for professional reasons. It was basic, but had what I needed, with plenty of restaurants nearby and buses running almost every minute. Staff were friendly and available whenever I needed them. They cleaned daily and refilled the water, and having a small balcony was a plus. The pool area is small but nice and clean. The kitchen doesn't have much, so it may not work if you really want to cook. For a longer stay, it might be worth asking them whether they can provide cooking options. I enjoyed my time here. If you need a place in Salaya, give it a go.

I wouldn't choose this place for a long stay. Its Wi-Fi is outdated and tops out at 50 Mbps, while others already offer speeds up to 500 Mbps.

Wi-Fi matters for everyday life, but the connection here is much too slow to use. Even paying for your own service isn't a workable option, since that is slow too.

The last few months have seen the rooms and facilities go downhill. The pool and rooms are dirty, and the staff are horrible. There's a beautiful new place next door, and we'll stay there once it's open. The staff were very rude. My wife did her hair in the room, and when we took our towels down to exchange them, the manager suddenly said, "THERE BETTER NOT BE HAIR ALL OVER THE TOWELS.." How did that nosy woman even know my wife had done her hair? My wife was one of the best hair stylists in the USA. This is the last time. To the owner: I also own buildings and houses. If one of my employees treated a guest or one of our friends this way, I'd fire them on the spot. As investors, we can't afford to lose money over something that leads to reviews like this. DOCTOR J.
