Ban Bangnangrom Hotel

We love it here, this was our second time at emmanuel s guesthouse! Emma is really nice and will go out of her way to help if you need it. It’s a cute house with a lovely mango tree where you can sit and enjoy yourself. The town is within walking distance, and the beach is a bike ride away. Most of the five bedrooms have balconies and good working AC. The bathroom is shared with other guests, which we personally don’t mind. Prices are between 350 and 450 BTH.

I was looking around Prachuap Khiri Khan for a while before finding this place. I don’t know why so many rooms in the city have fans instead of AC and still cost a lot. I didn’t like many of the options, but this is more like a homestay. My room wasn’t very big, but it was clean and cute, with a balcony. I only stayed one night, though I think I’d have felt at home if I’d stayed longer. There’s always coffee and tea, which I appreciate as someone who loves both.

The people running the place are lovely and helpful. My room was clean and the air-conditioning worked well, but the bed is very firm. Noise from the road, people, and dogs was constant and made it hard to sleep. A curtain on the window above the balcony door would help with that. The bathroom is shared by three rooms, which can be annoying. You can rent a scooter for 200 BAHT, and coffee and tea are free. There isn’t a lot to do here besides see monkeys.

Good WiFi, hot water, aircon, and a nice terrace, all at a budget price. The big downside is the street noise. I had to wear earplugs to sleep. The bicycles are in really bad shape: the chain kept coming off, the brakes didn’t work, and one pedal fell off, so I had to walk the bike all the way back from the beach.
