Located in the hip and upcoming Khao Takiap beach area in southern Hua Hin, this resort offers a modern and comfortable experience. It lies near the famous Khao Takiap rock and the Run Thom Temple, while those who want to explore the city centre will be within a 10-minute drive from it. Most importantly the beach is just a brisk 5-minute walk away. The venue also offers bicycle rental services for those who want to explore it at their own leisurely pace, but the ones who simply want to relax won't have to venture any further than the outdoor pool and the adjacent spa and wellness centre. The former comes with a separate children's swimming area and a poolside snack bar for that endless stream of refreshing beverages. While the latter can help with invigorating both the mind and the body with a soothing massage followed by some soaking in the hot tub and the sauna.

The place was superb, despite feeling like the Bates Motel. It was broken, dirty, old and creaky, with no hot water and paint bubbling off all over. The doors wouldn't even open halfway, and that was before getting to my girlfriend's spectral fears.

It was low season, and this was the only place I'd seen with people in it, so I stopped in. I just had an omelet, juice and an espresso. Everything was excellent, and I'm glad I went in.

I've stayed at more than 150 hotels and resorts in Thailand, but I won't forget how kind the staff here were. The front office team were especially helpful. I stayed here for my birthday and they surprised me. The resort is about 400 meters from a nice beach and temples, has a good-value restaurant on the first floor, and a nice swimming pool. It's one of my favorite resorts in Hin, and I'd recommend it.

There are a 7-11, restaurants and massage places across the street, and the beach is only a short walk away. Breakfast was good, our rooms were comfortable, and the kids loved the pool. The staff were very friendly and did a great job keeping the hotel clean. Our family really enjoyed staying at Napalai.

The rooms were clean and spacious, and the pool was nice. It felt like good value overall. The Wi-Fi was barely usable, the air conditioning didn't work well, and breakfast wasn't ready until an hour late. Maybe the staff hadn't shown up? 🤷🏼♂️
