The food was so good, and the staff were very nice. It’s close to lots of good places. The rooms were a little small but comfortable, though some towels were stained and the shower door was hard to open. The pool was spacious, but had lots of spots where you could cut yourself. I’ve mostly mentioned the downsides, but it’s a good hotel.

Our school held an English camp here because they have an event room. Everyone liked the food and pool, and the beds were comfortable. The hotel is across from the beach, so breakfast comes with a lovely view. We did find a couple of spiders in the room. If you expect a 3 star hotel, you’ll be pleased with the peaceful, laid-back atmosphere and homey feeling from the food and staff. The service was friendly, and they were very accommodating with my vegetarian needs. Great food, too. Thanks to the staff at Bacchus Home Resort.

It was all very clean, though a little older than other nearby resorts we visited. The rooms were on the small side, with nothing separate or offering beach views. This is a nice resort across the street from the beach, but it feels more like a regular hotel or motel than a typical Thai resort. The lady who showed us around was very nice, though she didn’t seem to speak English.

A local place right by the beach, with clean rooms at a good price. Breakfast was included and the portion was pretty big. WiFi worked, and checking in at 1 am was no problem. There’s plenty of parking. In the morning, you can see local people fishing with handnets. No western tourists.

We stayed 10 days in the Sunshine pool villas and really enjoyed it. The room was clean and comfortable, and having a private pool for an afternoon soak was wonderful. The staff were pleasant and extremely accommodating. We’d happily recommend Bacchus resort to anyone.
