Parking is limited, and the rooms are laid out so badly that turning on the toilet light wakes everyone up. The bigger problem was a large group playing loud music, screaming, and partying well after 11 pm. The hotel allowed it, showing no courtesy to the other guests. This isn’t a place to relax, so stay away. It’s a shame the land is owned and run with so little care and competence, especially given the good location.

The rooms and sheets were clean enough, and the pool itself was clean, though the pool area could use more upkeep and cleaning. The free breakfast was underwhelming, with a choice of Thai-style porridge or a very basic American breakfast. Prices are competitive with nearby hotels, but maintenance isn’t. Staff were friendly, though I think the place could use more management. Looking around, nearby properties seemed better maintained. I stayed in one of the more expensive beach-side bungalow rooms, and the facilities clearly need work. The shower pressure was extremely weak, and the waterfall-style shower head didn’t work properly without enough water. Cracks in the doors and windows let in lots of bugs, so ask them to clean or spray the room before moving in. WiFi reception in the bungalow rooms was bad, which seemed ironic for the resort’s priciest rooms. We asked to use the staff network, which had better reception for some reason, but they understandably said no, even though we were the only customers there.

The beach is clean and beautiful, and the resort is very close to the beach and sea. The room and restroom were nice, but staff service was moderate. The pool is public, not private. Parking is limited, and the 7-11 convenience store is about 1 km away on foot.

Right by the beach, it’s a nice place to relax and get some fresh air. The pool is small, and there’s no hair dryer.
