The design is beautiful and the location is ideal, but the experience didn’t feel worth the price. At check-in, the interaction felt like a one-sided monologue, with no simple welcome such as asking how the journey went. The room lighting may be meant to feel intimate, but it made finding basic things at night difficult. The air conditioning was extremely noisy and disrupted comfort, and the property needs attention to maintenance and engineering. Food was reasonably priced but very average. Breakfast was frankly appalling, with low-quality ingredients that are hard to understand at this price.

I felt welcome as soon as I arrived, thanks to the incredibly friendly and helpful staff. My beachfront villa had a private plunge pool, plenty of space, and stunning views, and it was comfortable too. Villa Maroc in Pranburi has beautiful Moroccan-style architecture that feels distinctive and relaxing. Breakfast was fresh and delicious, and dinner at the restaurant was a treat. The location is peaceful while still being near the beach and local attractions. It felt like a private, luxurious escape, and I’d definitely return.

The quiet was what I loved most: no crowds or noise, just waves, peaceful surroundings, and beautiful design. Villa Maroc is now on my list for weekend resets, and I’d absolutely return. It’s an easy few hours’ drive from Bangkok, set on the serene Pranburi beachfront, yet stepping inside this Moroccan-inspired boutique resort felt like being transported somewhere else. I stayed in a pool villa with direct beach access, a private plunge pool, and a rooftop terrace with lovely sunrise and sunset views. The architecture is striking, with colorful tiles, arched doorways, and deep blue and terracotta accents. It’s photogenic but still cozy and intimate. Staff were warm and attentive without being intrusive. Breakfast was simple but well done, with local and international choices and a sea breeze. A great place for couples, solo unwinds, or anyone wanting a break without going too far from the city.
