Pu Pah Kanna Pua

We had dinner at the restaurant, where the food was good and seemed fairly priced. It’s run separately from the hotel, so we had to pay after each meal rather than put everything on a tab. Breakfast was so good, easily among my top breakfasts, though we had to book a time the night before. In the afternoon we wandered around the grounds, took the kayaks out for an easy paddle, and walked a loop by the river and through the fields to the road and back. The outdoor restaurant area is stunning. We were touring by motorcycle and chose the hotel for one night. It has a bohemian feel. Check-in was easy and reception was friendly. Our spacious, comfortable room was on the first floor just behind reception, and I didn’t hear outside noise. Lovely hotel and grounds.

There are 15 rooms in this three story building, five on each floor, and they’re laid out nicely for comfort. The bed was clean and inviting. This charming little boutique resort is tastefully decorated, with a coffee shop serving breakfast to guests. The welcome tea set was a cute touch. If you’re looking to get away from busy city life and relax in nature, it could be an option.

The staff were so kind when our group of two couldn’t finish the shabu set dinner meant for four. They kept the leftover half set for us for the next day, which we appreciated. Everyone was friendly and helpful. It’s a good resort to get away from the busy city.
