The staff were okay, though not especially warm, and did what they could within their limits. There isn't much to do on the farm, so you'll need to rent a car to get around nearby. The food was good, but only available until 19.00. It's a beautiful, secluded setting, and that's really what you're paying for. It feels more like accommodation on a farm than a hotel.

The restaurant view was lovely, and breakfast was generous. We could pick porridge or an American breakfast with sausage, Bologna, sunny-side-up eggs, and a little veg. Both were good. We skipped the restaurant otherwise, so can't comment on the other food. The mosquito spray was appreciated too: when we asked, staff gave us a new bottle. Everyone we met was very polite and courteous, and the room was spotless. Of the four places we stayed on our northern road trip, this was by far the best quality, though it is on the pricey side. You do get what you pay for. We had a great stay, and Dad already wants to come back. The house (#6) is worth recommending, but take care on its tiny spiral staircase. It was easy to hit your head underneath, especially in the dark, and some cushioning would help. I hung clothes from the stairs as a warning to ourselves. The entrance signs are small, and Google Maps doesn't show the road clearly, so keep an eye out.
There's plenty of parking at the restaurant, and the view is good. Food was delicious, though it took a bit too long to come out. Google Maps sent me along a road I couldn't use, so watch for the signs and follow them. The place is a little farther in than the map point suggests.
The bacon fried rice could use a generous splash of bottled sweet chili sauce for more flavor. The fried chicken wings, though, were really dry and tasted like cardboard.
Our cabin opened onto a lovely view of the little paddy fields below, and there were different cabin sizes and designs around the property, including some that could fit more people. We were there for one night on a family road trip, and ours was spacious enough that my kid didn't go stir-crazy. It felt like one of those amazing wooden places from Treehouse Masters. The whole stay was tucked into the forest. Down the hill from the breakfast veranda are mini paddy fields, paths leading to open shacks, what looks like a greenhouse, and a small garden. Guests wandered there in the cool early morning or near sunset when the heat had eased. The veranda itself sticks out over the hillside and seats around six. It seemed like the best seat around, and I saw plenty of selfie sessions there. Dinner the night before was on that veranda. The food wasn't expensive, and the pork crackling dish, whatever it was called, was fantastic. They'd run out of beer, so a staff member went out to get some. It arrived cold, and I gulped it down. The setting was tranquil and the beer sweet, enough to make me forget how humid and sweaty I was. The cabin was clean, with polished parquet floors and a high ceiling that made it feel open. A broad glass front let in lots of natural light, warming up the interior. The toilet and shower were in separate, well-kept rooms. The sleeping area was raised and had windows for walls, with blinds for privacy. In bed in the morning, we lifted them to see the soft green of the forest, and had a hard time making ourselves get up. Breakfast was served down the wooden walkways. It was simple country-style food: boiled rice, fried Chinese dough, and fruit. It filled me up just fine. The open-air breakfast area also has that veranda over the hillside.
