The location was a real drawback. It’s 15-20 minutes from the city, away from the markets and malls, and there aren’t restaurants nearby, so finding a meal was difficult. The cafe only serves lunch, and when I asked at reception, they pointed out that a 7-Eleven was 500m away on the left. It has instant noodles and frozen food, so you can decide for yourself how useful that is. For a hotel claiming to be four stars, having no food after lunch was very disappointing. The hotel itself is basic but clean, and for the price I can’t complain about that. The staff were polite and spoke enough English to make communication easy. Breakfast cost 150 THB and was very basic, with trays of food already cooked rather than anything from a counter. It seemed just about adequate, but I imagine it would get dull during a longer stay. The shower pressure was also really low.

The staff were warm and attentive, and the pool was refreshing. I had a lovely stay, with a clean, comfortable room and a peaceful, welcoming atmosphere. The food was delightful too. It’s an experience that stays with you after checkout. Highly recommended.

The room was great, the AC was great, and the bed was great. The breakfast was great too, really, everything was great. The woman concierge helped me through the whole process, from arranging a motorcycle and breakfast to helping with a boat trip, a cruise, and seeing a show. She speaks English extremely fluently.
