The room was lovely, and the people running the resort were so friendly. We especially enjoyed the adorable local cat that would spend time with us. It’s a peaceful little area, with a great family-run restaurant just a few minutes away. We stayed for two nights.

The manager offered me a substantial discount from the online price when I came in, and the team were lovely. My room was clean, cozy, and very comfortable, and there’s a small pool with loungers for relaxing. I did wake up every morning at 5:20 to the nearby mosque’s call to prayer. That’s not the owner’s fault, but light sleepers may want to bring earplugs.

The staff were friendly and helpful, and the terrace was handy. There’s a pool, a fridge, and everything needed for cooking in the kitchen. The mattress and pillows were comfortable, and the room can be cleaned every day if you want. I slept well each night during my amazing week at Happy 8 resort. I hope to come back soon. Thanks again! 🙌😀

Sleep is the one thing you need from a hotel, and I couldn’t get any here. Roosters around the neighboring homes, about 5-10 or even more at each, crowed loudly all day and night without stopping. It was impossible to sleep, concentrate, or even hear myself think.

I’d known Tom for a couple of years and always found him one of the kindest, most genuine people. This was my first time booking a room here, for my 80-year-old aunt, who visited for a week. I worried she might find things to complain about, but she loved it. Her room was SUPER quiet and very comfortable, and the staff were really kind. Everything went perfectly. Big thanks to Tom and the team, 100% recommend!
