Naiharn Residence

The room had plenty of space, with a separate bedroom and a kitchenette holding a kettle, fridge, and microwave. We stayed for a month and a half in December-January 2025. The hosts and cleaning staff were very good, and cleaning happened every day. Thanks to the couple who did it, and greetings to their children. We did have ants in the kitchen. We sprayed them, but they kept appearing and even got into the fridge. It didn't bother us, though I can see it being a problem for someone else. The internet worked well during the day when people were out at the beach, but froze up in the evenings. The AC was only in the bedroom and was quiet. The microwave and kettle both broke during our stay. They sorted each problem out within minutes, which I really appreciated.

We spent 3.5 weeks here and had a great stay. The rooms are bright and roomy, the staff polite, and they cleaned every day. The room had a kitchen, fridge, microwave, dishes, a balcony, a very large bathroom, and a bed. You'll need to buy a stovetop. There's AC only in the bedroom, with a fan in the living room.

There are cafes and restaurants all around, a fruit stand almost opposite, a supermarket 100 meters around the corner, and a few massage places, all within walking distance. The beach takes 20-25 minutes on foot, or 3 minutes by bike. For peak season, I think it's a decent budget choice if you don't want to spend a lot on a 3-4* hotel. Standard rooms are 1,000 baht and family rooms 1,200 baht. The small hotel has spacious rooms laid out like one-bedroom apartments, with a separate kitchen/living area and bedroom. Some could use cosmetic repairs. Our shower ceiling was darkened and had peeling plaster, and the AC was so loud we couldn't sit with it on for long, never mind sleep. That got annoying fast, so I took off a star. There was a floor fan, which was enough for us at night. They cleaned daily and restocked two bottles of water each day.

I stayed here in February 2019. A good, affordable option for a young couple, especially if saving money is the priority.
