Siam Phuket Resort

The hostel is new, clean, and nice, with a very good location next to McDonald’s, which was handy on a rainy day. I paid 350 baht for two nights through Trip.com with a coupon. There aren’t bed curtains, though. My main concern was privacy and security in the dorm. I was staying alone, and a random Indian man who wasn’t staying in my dorm used the shower, then walked out wearing a morning robe. I assumed from that he lived there and wasn’t a tourist. It made me uncomfortable that someone who wasn’t checked in could access the room and my belongings. After showering, he talked loudly on his phone outside the room and disturbed others. I wish he’d been more considerate. I believe he may be the staff member’s husband, living in the next room, but I don’t know why he was showering in mine.

The facilities are good, and the beds are comfortable. It’s a nice hostel in a good location, but the lack of curtains means there isn’t much privacy.

The room was very good, and the place was clean, with plenty of space for exercise or yoga. Free hot and cold water is available around the clock. Customer service was very attentive and helpful, and I liked it a lot. It can be difficult to reach the owner, though, and there isn’t 24-hour service. You can contact the staff, but they sleep downstairs. I’d recommend this place. Try to get a lower bed if you can, since climbing to the upper one is a bit difficult. May 2025.

A new, clean, and really nice hostel. The rooms have their own showers and toilets, which is good for a hostel. The common area was okay, though there wasn’t much to do here.
