We stayed for a week, and the staff were friendly and helpful throughout. Service was very good, the beds were large and comfortable, and our small room had a big balcony. The pool was great, though people smoked around it all the time. The hotel had been four stars when we booked, but by the time we arrived Oyo had taken over and it was a three-star hotel. Our fridge didn't work, and the water heater in the next room was unreliable. Breakfast was pretty average, although the staff made fried eggs when we asked. The restaurant was expensive, especially the coconut water, which cost more than twice as much as outside.

The hotel is tucked into the lively Rawai Beach road area, with bars, restaurants, food shops and pharmacies just a few metres away. Rawai beach is more of a working beach than a place for swimming or tourists, but the neighborhood has plenty going for it. The hotel does too. It's compact but well laid out, and there's a peaceful pool area overlooked by the ground and first-floor balcony rooms. We stayed in one of the small bungalows. Ours had a spacious room with plenty of tables and chairs, though the large double bed was rather unforgiving. The shower room was adequate, but there wasn't much space for all the usual travel toiletries. The shower worked well, but there was no hot water, so stepping under it could take a little breath-catching. Staff were kind and helpful, and the hotel was very well maintained. Breakfast came by voucher at the adjoining restaurant overlooking the street. There was a varied menu, friendly service and good food, so we kept going back. All in all, a really good place hidden in plain sight.

The place is quiet, with large rooms, clean comfortable beds and nice balconies looking over the pool. The pools are pleasant, and the staff are very polite. They arranged an early morning airport transfer for 1200 baht. It's not beside a nice beach. Rawai beach isn't very nice, so be ready to rent a motorbike if you want to get to beaches you can enjoy.

Rawai moves at a slow pace, and 'Rawai Beach' isn't really a beach. The promenade is in pretty poor shape too. There seem to be lots of French and Belgian visitors, but not many Brits. The hotel itself is lovely and good value, with large rooms and beautifully decorated outdoor areas featuring big ponds full of fish. There are plenty of places to eat and drink nearby, plus a 7/11 around the corner and a Family Mart and Tesco Lotus close by.

The pool is lovely and clean, with lots of lush plants around it. I especially liked all the exotic greenery, it made me feel like I was in a jungle. The location is great, and the staff are very friendly.
