The Gallery Hotel Nai Harn

This was my second stay, and I love the place. The rooms are top notch and cleaned every day, and the buffet breakfast is excellent. Staff are friendly and helpful, too. The location works really well, with a short walk to Nai Harn beach, my favorite, and Rawai’s activity close by without being right on top of you. Great value. I’ll definitely come back!

The reception and housekeeping staff were especially kind, understanding, and helpful. Rooms were clean, and the pool was great. The gym was adequate. You can walk to the beach, the windmill, Yana Nui Beach, and out to the cape. The last places involve a few hills, but nothing too difficult. There are plenty of restaurants within 1 km, though I preferred the ones a bit farther out, around 2 km. I’d recommend it.

The pool view was beautiful, and a great spot to unwind. My room was comfortable and really clean, and everyone on staff was friendly and helpful. There’s a 7-Eleven about a minute away on foot, and the beach is less than a 10-minute trip. I had a great stay, would recommend it to people visiting the area, and would happily return. Totally worth it!

The cleanliness and upkeep were far below what I’d expect for the price. This isn’t a cheap hostel, but dust and dirt seemed to be everywhere. There were spider webs in both the room and bathroom, and the pool, though nice in the photos and at night, looked to me like it might be quite scary by day because of the poor maintenance. Some details added to the disappointment: the bathroom clothes hanger was useful but clearly hadn’t been cleaned, the water heater was dirty, and one of the small pillows had mold. The hair dryer sat in an uncovered dusty drawer, and the slippers were old and torn. I stayed one night at The Gallery Hotel Naiharn after arriving in Phuket in the evening. I checked in late and asked for a late checkout, but the front desk refused, even though the hotel didn’t appear to be fully booked that night or the next day. I hope management takes the cleaning and maintenance issues seriously and addresses them.
