Ya Nui Resort

The room is basic, but it’s quiet and peaceful, so it’s a nice place to relax. There are beaches, good restaurants, and convenience stores nearby, plus a good fitness club within walking distance.

The rooms were lovely, clean, and in a great spot. When a double booking left me stuck with my children and nowhere to stay, Gabriel and his staff were incredibly kind and accommodating. They even offered us their own living space if we needed it. Such lovely people, and I’d highly recommend the place.

I ended up staying here for two and a half months and honestly didn’t want to leave. I’d been traveling around Southeast Asia from February to July 2023 and had stayed in about 15 places, always looking for good value, quiet surroundings, a quality mattress, a properly equipped kitchen, and cleanliness. This hotel met every one of those criteria. A big compliment to the owner for creating such a lovely place, six stars out of five :)

Mon, who is the face of the resort, was efficient, helpful, and spoke excellent English. The staff were friendly too, and the pool was a great place to relax. I didn’t eat at the restaurant, though I understand it’s good. The resort is tucked away on a very quiet road, which could be handy with little kids who like to run off ;)) It’s a few minutes by moped from two beaches. I stayed seven nights for the covid entry requirements. My first room had a little kitchen, a large terrace, a comfortable bed, and effective a/c. For my last two nights I moved to the budget room above the laundry. It had a small balcony, and I really liked how bright and airy it was. I’d recommend it for a few nights.
