The rooms are oversized and comfortable, and the central location is great. This serviced apartment had very helpful, friendly staff. I'd definitely stay here again.

My experience had problems across reception, the bell service, housekeeping, and dining. The room and pool also had cleanliness and maintenance issues. At check-in, the receptionist spoke Thai to us because my companion is Thai. For information meant for guests or questions that needed a decision, I would have preferred English. On checkout day, the receptionists were warm, smiling, accommodating, and looked after my belongings while I waited in the lobby for a taxi. But when my companion and I stepped out to the car, one ran after us and asked in Thai whether she could check my bag for a hand towel that might have been misplaced while they had been looking after it. The bag had been in the hotel's care for an hour. It was bizarre to think a towel or maid's cloth might have been left in it, and nobody mentioned this while we sat in the lobby. They found nothing in my bag. The whole thing was communicated in Thai, even though I was clearly a foreigner and the receptionist had seemed perfectly able to speak English moments earlier. The bellboy came to help with our bags without taking off his shoes. Once we'd put our belongings on the wagon, we headed to the lobby. Instead of bringing it along so we could leave quickly, he inspected the room, picked up nearly empty soap and shampoo bottles and a seven-day-old forgotten orange juice, then ran after us hoping we'd take them. We said no. Why not bring the welcome-drink coupon we'd left on the bedside table instead? We told him we were waiting for a Grab. He was holding the wagon, but after we went outside he didn't follow, so I started pushing it myself. Then he suddenly wanted to help again. I leave unused amenities where they are rather than collect them, and the only one I needed was the toothbrush set. Still, I had to call every day to ask for toothbrushes. There were two of us in the room but they provided only one, and sometimes none. One day housekeeping left a large bottle with a cloth on top of the sink, right on my friend's toothpaste and other personal-care items. I called the operator/front desk and said, “Sawadeeka, your housekeeping forgot a bottle of cleaning detergent on my sink.” The call was transferred and cut off abruptly after I repeated myself. On my third call, they didn't understand me but sent a housekeeper up. It was an absurd request to the staff, who reacted with disbelief and ignored me as if I were mistaken or my English were the problem. We're not morning people, but we tried breakfast on a few days. There were many empty tables. When a big family arrived and sat in front of our chosen table, we nearly had to move. The staff's solution was to figure out how to move us instead of the family. I left halfway through breakfast. It was my first and last one there. We had lunch for several days in a row and ordered cheesecake for dessert. After waiting 30-40 minutes, we found it had been moved from the cake display to the fridge. We waited patiently without chasing it, but after 40 minutes asked for it to go, since we had other commitments. They served it on a plate instead, so my companion had to rush and eat it. On the first day, the bathtub and room floor were sandy, and there was a lot of bird poop on the balcony. The magazine on the table was torn. They didn't clear away an Ovaltine with too much ice; it sat there for four days. They put signage on my luggage as if it were a table. The pool towel sign said not to take more than one, and the pool staff were unwelcoming. The pool was sandy, and some tiles had come loose.

I already know this chain and like its room style, with a kitchen, large fridge, and amenities. It's convenient for short or long stays, especially if you like cooking. Breakfast has Indian, Japanese, Thai, and Western options, served in a large dining area with plenty of tables. The bed is comfortable, and there's a sofa with a desk for working. The sofa can also serve as a bed for an extra person. The toilet and shower come with toiletries. The air conditioning was the problem: even set to 24 degrees on high, it wouldn't adjust properly. The area around the hallway unit got cool, but the bed area didn't.

The meeting room was spacious, comfortable, and well equipped, and my own room was clean and airy. The air conditioning was a welcome break from the heat. I attended a three-day company workshop at Classic Kameo Hotel in Rayong, and the friendly, professional staff warmly welcomed me and went out of their way to help with our workshop materials. The hotel's central location was very convenient. Breakfast had a great variety that changed daily, and lunch featured tasty traditional Thai dishes. Drinks at the bar were reasonably priced. After the long days, I enjoyed unwinding at the large pool, well-stocked gym, sauna, and steam room. The stay exceeded my expectations, and I'd highly recommend the hotel as a comfortable, convenient venue for company workshops or events.

The staff were great and had good attitudes. We had three issues with the room, but they were dealt with right away after we reported them. The food was the big disappointment. I'd read reviews praising it, so my expectations were high, but it was a letdown. We stayed three nights and tried many things, including the sorbet and gelato at the restaurant entrance. Sadly, none of it left a good impression. I don't like saying that, but it's true.
