I meant to stay three nights, but liked it so much that I ended up staying two weeks. My room was clean, nice, and had a sea view, and there’s a big terrace on the top floor. Ban Phe has a lovely little village feel and a genuine Thai atmosphere. Lots of tourists head straight to Koh Samet, but I’d suggest spending a few days in Ban Phe too. There are plenty of nice restaurants, and prices are lower than on Koh Samet.

The owner is so friendly that the place feels like home. The rooms are clean and nice, with a beautiful view of the sea and Ko Samed island. They also sell tasty coffee and delicious homemade cake made by the owners.

The owners are warm and welcoming, which was the best part for me. The hotel itself is a peaceful little gem, within walking distance of the pier and a delicious night market with lots of tempting options.

If you’re not staying in, try the restaurant on the top floor. The food is amazing for the price. The place is new and has a lot to offer, and we’re sure it’ll keep growing successfully. The owner and all the staff are some of the warmest, most caring and welcoming people we’ve met in the business.
