Room 402 on the fourth floor was a great one, closest to the river, with a good view that included the famous tallest Buddha in Thailand. The hotel was modern, clean, and very good value. The bathroom had a huge shower, though it got hot in there. This room gets full sun, so we ran the AC even in winter. Everything electrical and in the bathroom worked, which isn't always the case in Thailand. Breakfast was okay but nothing special. The counter staff were friendly, though they don't speak much English. There's a great restaurant nearby (licking lips?), which I've reviewed, and a Marijuana coffee shop next door, so the hotel doesn't open its own small coffee shop. Highly recommended.

The staff were friendly and attentive, and for what I paid it was good value. I stayed in an Exclusive room, though it didn't feel very exclusive, with cheap furniture in the living room. Breakfast selection was poor: the fried eggs and sausages were cold, which isn't acceptable. Only the instant coffee and toast were warm.

The beds were probably the softest we had during four weeks in Isaan, and the rooms were spacious and clean. It was quiet at night despite being near the centre. There was cool AC, a big flatscreen TV, a small fridge, and hot water with good flow. Parking was plentiful and rates were budget friendly. Free breakfast included coffee, toast, eggs, rice, and two or three Thai dishes. We had little to fault, just two small annoyances: the fridge lost power when the keycard was removed, and the 2 pm check-in was strictly enforced, so we waited an hour after arriving early.

We got our room keys at 1:56 pm, then had to wait until exactly 2 pm to enter. We arrived at 1:15, and the car park made the hotel look less than 30% full, so the rooms seemed available already. Being held until the official check-in time left a bad first impression. Stupid bureaucracy. We won't stay here again.
