The price felt fair for such a good location, and we had a lovely stay with a great view and a friendly owner. The bed didn't suit me, though my husband liked how hard it was. Also, take care when charging devices: the electricity can be unstable, and after a major storm our laptops had problems.

People are nice, the view is good, and there's a shared area with tea and coffee. It's cheap, and the price seems fair for the area, despite backpackers complaining. The accommodation is rustic and basic, with a mattress on the floor and the sink outside. Keep in mind this is a northern Thai village, not a holiday resort. I'd recommend it.

From the guesthouse you get a great forest view all day, and I left feeling refreshed after enjoying the nature. I had a wonderful stay in mid-December and would return. It's a good option in Samoeng, close to Mae Sap Cave, local restaurants, and Samoeng Tai Market. The owner is very kind, the price is low, the beds were clean, and I had no bug bites. The shower room seemed like it hadn't been cleaned in months, though that didn't bother me.

For an authentic Thai experience, this is a great place to come. It's very calming, with chickens, cats, and dogs wandering around. The people running it are really nice. The mattress is hard, but I like that.
