The hosts were incredibly kind and made us feel like family. We went for the lantern festival at Mae Jo University, about 15 minutes away, and our host drove us there and came back to collect us when we were ready. Back at the hotel, they had the grill going and made BBQ food, offered drinks, and gave the kids lanterns to send off. The atmosphere was relaxing, and the food was good. I can't say enough nice things about them.

The staff are friendly, and the cottages feel cozy.

Playing loud music late at night disturbs the people living nearby. Most locals have been here a long time, and this is also a student housing area. A small group making noise is disturbing many people who want to relax. The resort may be good, but it needs to show more consideration for the community if it wants a sustainable business.

The bungalows have a pleasant feel, though the beds are quite hard and the lighting is dim. The shower is outdoors, which lets you see the stars in the moonlight. Just be prepared for a noisy rat party in the attic at night.
