The Y Boutique Hotel

A very clean room, and the bed was comfortable. The mattress, AC, WiFi, and small fridge were all good, and there was no noise at night. Breakfast was basic, and the pool was clean but small. A 7/11 is just 30 seconds away, though there isn’t much else nearby.

We’d enjoyed the quiet and convenient location on our previous stay, so we came back last year. This time, though, there was a strong cigarette smell in our room on two consecutive days, despite the no-smoking sign. It happened at night while we were asleep, and we have children. We woke in the middle of the night and couldn’t get a decent rest. I consider this very poor hotel management, and we shouldn’t have to breathe secondhand smoke. The staff seemed to care but didn’t do anything to fix it, and weren’t helpful when we raised it. It was a very bad experience for us and our kids. Don’t stay here if you want a good night’s rest.

The hotel was clean, comfortable, and in a handy spot. It’s near a convenience store and lots of evening restaurants, and you can easily walk back after hanging out.

I won’t return. I came down at 6:35 am for breakfast, but the room was locked. At check-in the previous afternoon, a woman on staff had said I could come at 6:30 for bread and coffee, before the buffet was ready. The receptionist that morning said breakfast began at 7 and didn’t seem to care when I explained. The manager only made excuses and denied that the woman had said it. The morning receptionist was rude and treated me like a fool. The hotel should be rated around 6.5 because staff didn’t honor what they’d promised. Ridiculous.
