Leelawadee Resort Saraburi

The room was roomy and fairly clean, and the place itself has a cute feel. It’s close to Robinson, where there’s a Tops and plenty of food options. We came across it on Google while passing through town, though the reception didn’t feel especially welcoming or impressive, and we weren’t sure what would suit us. There were toiletries, but no hot water kettle or coffee in the room.

The quiet setting away from traffic is nice if you want a simple stay. The rooms are huge and okay, and the bed was fine. There isn’t much service beyond the receptionist, and a 7-11 is a long walk away. The water pressure was low, and the pipes and faucets looked pretty old. There were some insects in the room, if that bothers you. The plugs are far from the bed, which might help you take a break from your phone.

We liked the place and might come back. Our room was spacious and comfortable, and we were happy with things like the electric kettle. One small issue, though: there were no hangers in the wardrobe, so there was nowhere to hang our clothes.

The staff were incredibly friendly and went out of their way to help. The place is nice, but bring money along: there’s no way to cook in the room or do your own laundry. They do offer laundry service, though, at about $1 US per item.
