The sea-view bungalow was about what I expected for the price. The place felt somewhat rundown, and the room’s cleanliness and ventilation could be better. It’s by the sea, but there’s no beach and you can’t swim there. There are only a few good restaurants and a fisherman’s market nearby, which was the one positive I could think of.

We picked it for the convenient location and low price, especially since it’s very close to Samaesan pier. The bungalow has a nice sea view, though it isn’t really on the beach as advertised. The stay was basic and the bed was extremely hard. Dogs are welcome, with a 300 baht charge for small dogs for the whole stay.

There weren’t many people around, and I liked that. We got a lovely little cottage with a water view for about USD $33. There isn’t much of a beach, but that was fine for one night. The cottage looked great, and the bathrooms seemed remodeled.

An interesting place to visit, right on the water. If it swims in the local ocean, you can find it at this market, along with lots of other food, gifts, and desserts.

The room and air conditioning were okay for what I paid, and it’s close to the beach, though you can’t actually use the beach 😩. Seems suited to a group of divers.
