Lipe Baan Talay Homestay

The host is a lovely local woman, always happy to help with anything we needed. The location is excellent, and the room had everything we needed for a very pleasant stay. You can hear some street noise, so bear that in mind if you’re sensitive to it. The place has only just opened, so don’t be discouraged by the small number of reviews.

Right by the sea, and the area looks especially beautiful in the morning. Walk along the beach for about ten minutes and you’ll reach the stretch in front of 10 moons, the most beautiful spot on earth. Behind the hotel there’s a road with really cheap food, an ATM, and a 7/11. You can also rent paddle boards nearby for cheap.

The owners were friendly and very helpful, and the location was wonderful. It’s only a few meters from the beach on the quieter side. The place is at the end of a one-way street, so only a few people ride bikes down there and it stays very quiet. Next door, there’s a nice, authentic Italian pizza bar where you can have drinks at the beach.

The woman running the place was the best part. She’ll help with whatever you need, from transfers to payments. Just add her on WhatsApp. The price is good for being near Sunrise beach, and the street is quiet. The bungalows are roomy enough for maybe three or four people. Downstairs there’s a sofa, bathroom, TV, and fridge. Hot water is available whenever you need it, despite the heat. Upstairs are the bed, AC, and, if yours has one, a balcony. The sheets are super smooth and comfortable.
