For a long weekend with kids, this could work. The facilities are geared toward them, with a small playroom, mini water park and kids’ pool. But for a quiet or romantic break, I’d probably look elsewhere or come on a weekday. We stayed two nights. The room was a good size, with a large bathroom and separate shower, tub and toilet, which is handy for a family. There’s also a sizable balcony. The aircon blows straight onto the bed, which could make sleeping hard, and the lighting could be better. Parking was difficult in the basement, so you’ll likely need overflow parking. The drop-off area is narrow and needs a three-point turn. Golf carts bring guests from overflow parking, but expect to wait 10-15 minutes in the sun or rain during the day. Breakfast was a standard buffet, nothing special, and could use more fruit. Facilities: 4/5.

The rooms were big, new and clean, and the pool was fantastic, especially for little kids. It’s a very child-friendly hotel. The morning buffet had a good, wide selection, though other food choices were a bit limited. It sits a little outside the city, and the nearby area isn’t especially walkable.

Booking through Agoda costs less than booking direct, and you get better perks too, like a complimentary minibar. Don’t sign up for membership. Even my highest titanium tier meant nothing. If you haven’t joined, they treat you like a God, so I’d avoid it.

The room and service were nice, and there was plenty of parking. There’s a good restaurant nearby with a much prettier view for lunch or dinner. My one gripe is that outside the room there’s nowhere to plug in and work except in the working room. The gym is open 24 hours, and the spa costs extra.

We got a nice welcome drink when we arrived 🍹, and the staff were polite and friendly. The rooms are comfortable, modern and well designed. It’s right by the sea, though there’s no beach. The view and atmosphere are still relaxing, and it’s good value for a quiet getaway 💙🧳✨
