GO Hotel Bowin at Robinson Lifestyle

I booked a Twin Bed room at Go Hotel Bowin a month before my stay this weekend. I wasn't told I'd be getting a King size bed instead, and only learned that after my card was charged and the cancellation period had passed. I had clearly requested twin beds, with no advance notice that they weren't available. When I asked the hotel about it, they said they couldn't fix the room arrangement or offer compensation. The support emails were confusing too: first they said they could change the room type, then shortly afterward said they couldn't. They advertise a 2-hour response time, but I waited over a full day for a meaningful reply. This was especially disappointing after reading good reviews and recommending the hotel to my whole football team, who are staying here while preparing for an important tournament this weekend. I'm now stuck with a room setup I never asked for. I hope the hotel will consider a goodwill gesture or compensation. Very disappointing, and far below expectations. Update: Once I arrived, the on-site staff and receptionist were friendly and professional. They listened and kindly upgraded my room and added amenities to help make up for what happened. I unfortunately didn't catch the receptionist's name, but their exceptional service made the frustrating situation much easier to bear. I'm still disappointed with online customer support and the booking management team. They still haven't replied to my most recent email, which I sent last week. But I was very impressed by the receptionist on duty, whose professionalism and effort significantly improved my stay.
