Ivory House Sriracha

The location is quite far down a long soi, so it really suits people with a car. The room was new, clean, quiet, and nicely decorated, with a soft bed and warm blanket. They provided a full shower set, shower cap, bath and hair towels, kettle, and instant coffee, but no hair dryer. The sliding glass door has an ordinary lock, with no key card or door chain.

There was plenty of parking, the Wi-Fi was strong, and the staff were lovely and friendly. The room was beautiful and clean, with a very comfortable bed. Even a cute cat came to greet us! The bathroom’s stone floor looked nice, but it was slippery and I nearly fell a few times. I had a great stay and will definitely come back.

My first stay was so good that I came back, and the room was still clean and welcoming. But last night, heavy rain and strong winds brought down a large tree the hotel had planted in the parking lot, and it crushed my car. When I told the owner this morning, the immediate response was that it wasn't the hotel's fault. I only wanted some concern, even a simple question about whether I was hurt or okay. Maybe the service depends on the low price I paid. I do want to thank the male staff member who handled everything on his own. I don't think anyone told him to do it; he seemed to help customers from the heart. This bad experience taught me what attitude I should have if I ever own a good hospitality business. I learned from a bad example.

Parking is a real gamble. There are very few tight spaces, and if you arrive late you may have to leave the car on the street. Staff will help with luggage and keep watch over cars 24/7, which is good, but parking beneath the trees often means sap stains and peeling paint, and strong winds can drop branches onto vehicles. Most of the rooms are quiet, though Friday and Saturday evenings can be rough. Some groups bring out tables and chairs, drink alcohol, and make so much noise that sleep is almost impossible, sometimes late at night too. This kind of accommodation shouldn't allow drinking parties. There are also geckos under the ceiling on the second floor. The wooded surroundings make that understandable, but their chirping, chasing, and mating sounds get loud, with scurrying that can sound like the ceiling is coming apart. That needs attention.
