Laemchabang City Hotel

The staff are friendly, and they change the bedding and restock the guest kit and towels every day. It's a great location near the shipyards, and the price is cheap. I loved everything here. I'm from Philippines.

The restaurant food is quite good, and the staff are exceptionally friendly and helpful. This is an old hotel, but they're working hard to improve it. When something goes wrong, they try to sort it out quickly. It's centrally located and easy to reach, and for the price there's not much to complain about. A good fit if you want an affordable stay and aren't expecting luxury. I'd gladly return.

Good value for solo or group travelers, with friendly staff and a roomy guest room for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. The room itself is spacious, and the bathroom is too. Facilities are good, though there's no hair dryer or spoon for the complimentary coffee. The TV is old school, with local cable channels. Breakfast mixes Thai dishes and porridge with American-style food. At night there are local food options nearby, and a 7-11 is an easy 200-300 meter walk. Worth the money.

For 790 Baht a night, breakfast is included and decent. It's a fair price, and I'd come back, hoping they can improve the soundproofing around the doors and windows. You can hear people talking and doors slamming because the rooms aren't soundproof. The furniture and bathroom are also quite old and could use some refurbishment. The hotel works well for a stay in Laem Chabang, especially for people doing business nearby, tour guides, or tour operators, since it's close to Laem Chambang port. It's an older place, but doesn't look bad. The room is spacious, with a large comfortable bed, cool AC, and a big window. I saw them change the sheets in every room myself. The TV is old but gets Thai channels, Aljazeera, and NHK. There are three electrical sockets and the WiFi is very strong. There's a large parking area opposite, with security at night. In just a 2-5 minute walk you can find lots of vendors and food stalls, plus 7-11, Big C, Tesco Lotus, and a very large fresh market.
