The place is beautiful, the staff are nice, and the rooms are clean. Really, the only thing I can complain about is that the pillows are too hard, so basically nothing.

We spent a few nights here while traveling between Bangkok and Pattaya, with visits to the zoo and a quad biking trip along the way. The cottages sit in a small village off the main highway in Si Racha, with a shipyard theme and an unusual artistic feel. Statues and structures made from mechanical pieces and ship parts give the place its character. It's green and full of monkeys, dogs, and small farm animals, which made it very kid-friendly. The owner was extremely welcoming and made sure we had what we needed. Our room was very spacious and exceptionally clean, and it had modern furniture and new appliances. You do need to arrange transport ahead of time since there aren't taxis nearby, but the stay was absolutely worth it. I'm really glad we chose it.

We were glad to pay extra for such a distinctive place, even though its unusual character pushes the price up for the location. The different villas are full of nik-naks, built in a Thai village style, and make for fascinating accommodation. It was also appreciated that we could order dinner despite arriving at 8.00pm.

A lovely place, with a beautiful design and a family feel. It's right beside the Khao Khoew Open Zoo, and there are lots of cute dogs, geese, ducks, and chickens.
