For 550 baht after a little bargaining with the owner, I got a clean, fairly roomy place with a double bed and air conditioning. There was no fridge, but I could bring my bicycle inside overnight. The resort is just outside the town, which is quite spread out, and a few local places to eat are a 5-10 minute walk away. You'll need your own transport to explore other parts of this appealing town and its clean little beaches. I was cycling south and stayed one night, though looking back, I could have stayed two.

The bathroom was the best I've come across on my travels, with a bathtub and heated water. This small resort is in a quiet spot near the centre of Sichon town. A great budget break and getaway, I was really impressed.
