The location is excellent, and the kitchen serves good Thai food. You get what you pay for, though: the toilet is unbelievably tiny and unhygienic for men.

The room was okay, but getting to Songkhla’s main busy street on foot takes a while. There are some pubs and massage places nearby, so it may suit farang people better. The mattress was really hard, like lying on the floor, and the low-quality pillow disturbed my sleep and left my neck sore in the morning.

The rooms are dated, but for this area it’s not a bad place to stay. There are good places to eat nearby, and The Buzz stop bar is just around the corner, which is good for westerners.

The room and bathroom felt a bit worn for what we paid, and the Wi-Fi on the 5th floor didn’t seem very secure or strong. The rest was good: a lift, a convenient location, clean rooms, comfortable beds, working AC, large windows looking toward the hills, and complimentary water and coffee.
