Ruean Thai Hotel

We loved the peaceful atmosphere and beautiful traditional Thai architecture and decor. This was one of our favorite hotel stays ever, and we travel a lot. The pool was nice for cooling off, massages were available onsite, and the hotel restaurant served fast, delicious Thai food. Staff took great care of us, knew the local area, and spoke English, so not knowing Thai wasn't a problem. They arranged what we needed, including free rides to some nearby places and paid rides elsewhere. We were glad to stay here instead of closer to the historical park; when we wanted to explore it, the hotel driver took us for a reasonable fee. Our rate included a big breakfast, and we ate almost all our meals at the hotel because it was easy and tasty. It was totally quiet during our stay, so maybe the bar someone previously mentioned no longer exists. The hot water and air conditioner both worked perfectly. In case you're wondering, the hotel wasn't affected by the flooding that some parts of the region had recently experienced, and tourist attractions were open as usual. I'd recommend staying at least a few days.

The staff were incredibly friendly, welcoming, and helpful. We thought the pool area was lovely and relaxing, and the rooms had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. Breakfast had a very good range of options. For a 3-star hotel, Ruean Thai Hotel exceeded our expectations in a lot of ways, and it's definitely worth recommending for a Sukhothai visit.

The authentic Thai style hotel made me feel so good that I wanted to return again and again. It's family owned, with friendly staff and excellent hospitality. The food was good and tasted great.

The owners and staff are kind and nice. You can book directly with them and ask for a discount, which is cheaper than Booking.com and Kayak. They serve lunch and dinner too. We'll come back and stay with them.
