For one night, this was more than enough. We hadn’t expected much for the price, and found it on Agoda for 420 THB for three people plus a dog. We chose to pay on arrival because that’s usually cheaper, but it wasn’t: we paid 500 THB for the three of us and another 100 THB for the dog. We weren’t given a room lock. You can buy or rent one for 100 THB, though I’m not sure which. The staff didn’t speak English at all.
The aircon finally started working after I pulled out the filthy filters and tossed them outside. The controls were set to 20 with the fan on full, which seemed to be a sign the unit wasn't working. I've run into this in nearly every room I've rented, and apparently not many hotel owners check the filters. The place is a long way from AH2. It was 450 baht for the room plus 200 for my small dogs, despite other reviews listing different prices. Fine for a night, but too expensive for the room. In America I'd call it a dump.
Just a basic place to sleep, with a bed, toilet and fan. The fan room costs 200 baht, or 380 baht for air conditioning. The tap gives warm water for a shower, which was a nice surprise. There are food places nearby.
It's family run and friendly, with a basic room and a fan. The resort sits at the end of a dead end, so nights are very quiet. You can get a room for 200 baht a night if you turn up, while Booking.com is useless. There are plenty of street food options, a fancier restaurant at the crossroads, a Tesco Lotus nearby, and a mall with Pizza Hut. A good spot to rest for a few days.
For a cheap one-night stop while passing through, it's fine, though pretty basic. There's a mall nearby, along with some decent street vendors.
